In 2016 we, Charlie and Carrie, retired and decided to hit the road, traveling home-free and living in vacation rental homes. This involved a lot of preparations, from downsizing: sorting, photographing, storing, selling, donating and/or trashing our stuff with the help of Mary Jo and Cassandra, to preparing our house for sale, with expert guidance from our realtor, Robin Ward. By August 11, 2017, escrow closed, and we began our journey. Here’s our story.
